The Carle Place High School varsity softball program continues to represent the school and Nassau County with distinction. Sophomore Ashley Cole received All-State Honors by the New York State Sportswriters Association for her success on the mound.
Ashley has been a member of the varsity softball team since she was in eighth grade. As a member she has contributed to three Class B County Championships and two Long Island Championships.
In 2009, Ashley received All-County honors and the Class B MVP. Her stats include a .970 ERA, 221 strikeouts, 170 putouts, 43 assist and a .991 fielding average. Ashley’s career stats include a .908 ERA. Everyone at Carle Place High School is proud of Ashley and all she has accomplished and what she still is capable of achieving. Her potential is endless.
