Westbury Friends School Golf, Tennis Outing Honors Ernest Strada

On Monday, Oct. 4, the sun rose over the North Hills Country Club for the 6th Annual Westbury Friends School Golf and Tennis Outing. Physical education teacher Nick Belle and his Outing Committee donated their time and effort since last March to plan for this important fundraising event for Westbury Friends School.

The outing honored former Westbury Friends Village Mayor, Ernest Strada, for his commitment to what Friends believe in: working for the good of society through active community service. Participants enjoyed a great day on the links as the rain held off until the last hole. Dinner and a silent auction ended this most enjoyable and successful event for the Westbury Friends School community.
