Letter: Warm Thanks for Warm Gesture

I would like to thank kindergarten teacher Carolyn Bentsen and the students from St. Brigid-Our Lady of Hope in Westbury for their thoughtful donation of winter coats to the Coats for Kids drive held through my district office.

Their kind gesture will go a long way toward helping those less fortunate members of our community who otherwise would have a difficult time keeping warm during the approaching winter.

I am proud to represent a district, which includes residents who go out of their way to show their concern for one another, especially in these extraordinarily difficult times.

Again, thank you to these caring individuals.
