We have so many reasons to celebrate this year.
Some can be counted – more than 110 volunteers at our Walk for Success and more than 200 students recruited to join the new class of students aiming for college, with the incentive of college scholarship money from Project GRAD Long Island.
Some can be greeted – our new executive director Sybil Johnson, new board member Dr. Drew Bogner and many new supporters, all of whom make Project GRAD Long Island a community achieving great dreams together.
Some can be cheered – Westbury ninth-graders learning rocket science at our summer academy, 10th-graders learning green design at our summer institute, and community leaders accepting “Achieving Dreams” awards.
And some can be thanked. Project GRAD Long Island works because members of the community like you invest in the future of our students, setting a high bar for success in high school and making college academically – and financially – possible.
As we approach the end of the year, please consider a year-end gift to continue championing quality education and college access for disadvantaged Long Island students. Your gift of any amount will directly benefit our scholarship fund, helping more Long Island students achieve their college and career dreams.
Every gift makes a difference, especially in this challenging economic climate.
We look forward to working and dreaming with you in 2011!
