Pancake Breakfast

Westbury Boy Scout Troop 233 will be holding a pancake breakfast at Westbury United Methodist Church, 365 Asbury Avenue. From 8 a.m. to noon. 

 

Tree Lighting

The village of Westbury will hold their tree lighting festivities at 4 p.m. at the Vilage Recreation Center, at 348 Post Avenue. 

December 8

The LIFE Church Christmas Tree Lighting 

The LIFE Church will be having their annual tree lighting festival beginning at 2 p.m. with a Christmas Craft Fair featuring home decor, floral arrangements, scented candles, baked goods and more. The craft fair will be followed by a music extravaganza at 2:30 p.m. with singer Blake Flattley, and duo Lost and Found. There will be performances by the Long Island Lutheran High School Choir, Old Westbury Church Choir, The LIFE Day School Singers, the LIFE Band and a dance recital from the Nutcracker Suite. The day’s festivities will end with the lighting of the 65-foot Oriental spruce, which is decorated with over 8,000 lights.

Westbury Board of Education Meeting 

The Westbury Board of Education will hold a planning meeting at Powells Lane School at 7:30 p.m.

 

Carle Place Board of Education Meeting

The Carle Place Board of Education will be having a business meeting at Cherry Lane School starting at 8 p.m.

December 13

UNCCRC Christmas Tree Lighting 

Unifed New Cassel Community Revitilization Corp.will be holding its 13th annual tree lighting with candy canes and hot chocolate, holiday music, raffles and toys. The event will be at 211 Garden Street from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Historical Society of the Westburys – ‘Tis the Season, Holiday Party
