Come out for a evening of musical performances by talented Carle Place faculty, alumni, community members and students. The show is put on by the Carle Place Arts and Education Booster Club, and will begin at 7 p.m. at the Carle Place High School Auditorium. There will be free refreshments after the show. Tickets are $5 and available at the door.
Come out to Westbury United Methodist Church at 365 Asbury Avenue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for their church bazaar.
St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Regional School will be holding a craft fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 101 Maple Avenue. Come to this indoor event which will feature a wide variety of popular vendors, and get your holiday shopping done early. Free admission.
A dance performer, comedian, magician and singers are just some of the performers set to perform at the America’s Got Talent Live show at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury. Tickets range from $49.50 to $79.50 and can be purchased on www.livenation.com. Show starts at 5 p.m.
The Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau Conty is celebrating 21 years with their annual Tribute Dinner. The dinner will be held at Old Westbury Hebrew Congregation, at 21 Old Westbury Road. Hicks Nurseries will be holding Ladies Night Out, an evening of food, music, raffles and shopping. There will be free hors d’oeuvres, wine and desserts, live music and demonstrations of holiday decorations. Ten percent of sales from the evening will be donated to Long Island Cares and all of the sales from a Chinese Auction of gift certificates and products from local businesses will also be donated to the charity. Shoppers are also asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Long Island Cares’ Harry Chapin Food Bank. The first 200 ladies to make a reservation will receive a tote bag. Additionally, anyone who spends $100 will receive a $20 gift card to use toward a future purchase (one per person). Sign up now for Westbury Recreation Department’s annual Turkey Bowl. There will be three divisions and five man teams: 7 to 9 year olds (9:30-10:30 a.m.), 10 to 12 year olds (10:30-11:30 a.m.), and 13-15 year olds (11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Westbury Boy Scout Troop 233 will be holding a pancake breafkast at Westbury United Methodist Church, 365 Asbury Avenue. From 8 a.m. to noon.
The village of Westbury will hold their tree lighint festivities at 4 p.m. at the Vilage Recreation Center, at 348 Post Avenue.
Westbury mayor Peter Cavallaro holds office hours on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 5 to 7 p.m., and the second Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
