Popovich Comedy Pet Theater

The world famous comedy pet theater is coming to NYCB Theatre at Westbury. Gregory Popovich brings a family-oriented blend of unique comedy and juggling skills and the talents of his performing pets. The show starts at 1 p.m. Tickets are $29.50.

Wednesday, May 15

ZZ Top

The 70s rock band will be performing with the Ben Miller Band at NYCB Theatre at Westbury. The concert starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $39.50 to $49.50 and can be purchased at livenation.com. 

Saturday, May 18 

Golden Opportunity and Gala Auction

Community Reform Temple (CRT) in Westbury will be holding a “Golden Opportunity” and Gala Auction. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the auction begins at 7 p.m. There is a donation of $10 per person to attend the auction. 

The free “Golden Opportunity” will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., where attendees are invited to sell their unwanted gold, silver and platinum jewelry.  Wasserman Jewel Galleries of 5th Avenue in New York City will be there to digitally weigh your gold. “Miles For Melanoma” 5K Run/Walk

The Colette Coyne Melanoma Awareness Campaign will be holding their ninth annual “Miles for Melanoma” 5K Run/Walk. The event takes place at Eisenhower Park, Field 2. Register online at ccmac.org or on-site the day of the event starting at 8 a.m. The run starts at 9:30 a.m, the walk at 10:30 a.m. Preregister by May 6 with a donation of with a donation of $20 before May 6, or $25 after.
