We recently celebrated the sixteenth annual May W. Newburger Women's History Breakfast and, thanks to North Hempstead residents, it was a great event. Through your participation as guests, officials, honorees and those who came to honor them, the breakfast was enjoyed by all.

It also reminded me of the many ways women contribute to our world - locally, nationally, globally. Thank you, one and all, for your vision and dedication. Through your continual efforts, the world is a better place to live.
