Ben Sweetland's quote, 'We cannot hold a torch to light another's path without brightening our own,' comes to mind when I think about the outpouring of community support for MPowering Kids.

Generous donations from 15 Westbury and Carle Place businesses made our 2008 Holiday Party the most delicious event we have had to date.

Thank you for your continued faith in MPowering Kids to tutor, mentor and provide cultural enrichment to promising, yet otherwise resource-less students in the Westbury School District and encourage them on their journey to college.
