Jim Colligan, former athletic director was one of 60 inductees to the Carle Place High School Athletic Hall of Fame from the classes of 2000-2004 on Oct. 25. The school's Athletic Hall of Fame is extensive and reflects the rich history of Carle Place High School's athletic programs. The ceremony, which lasted about two and a half hours, was held in the Joseph C. Burke Auditorium. The school hosts an induction ceremony every five years and this induction included student athletes from Classes of 1995 through 1999.

"It was great to be able to honor so many deserving individuals," said current athletic director Chris Ceruti. "Seeing so many great athletes from the recent years was truly a pleasure and we couldn't be more proud of the 2008 inductees."
