It's been a busy fall for the Carle Place Athletic Booster Club (CPABC). With the start of the 2008 school year came the welcoming of some new members - Hadiah Chiappone, Lucille Hughes and Tom Pisani. They will join in as the club works to provide additional resources to Carle Place athletes.

On Oct. 25, the CPABC was proud to sponsor the Carle Place High School Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony honoring 59 athletes from the classes of 2000-2004. The next time you attend a Carle Place Middle/High School function, be sure to stroll down to the gymnasium hallway and view the plaques of the new inductees.

Homecoming 2008 was held Oct. 17. The annual class float parade featured the middle school combined seventh and eighth grades as one team competing against the teams representing grades nine through 12. Each participating class received a donation to their respective treasuries from CPABC.

To help show your spirit and assist in the club's continued support of Carle Place athletes, CPABC is selling top quality hooded Carle Place sweat shirts, decals, bleacher cushions and, during home indoor events visit "The Club House" at the south corner of the gymnasium hallway for a drink and a light snack.
