The Third Squad reports the details of an occupied burglary that occurred April 9 at 4 p.m. in Westbury.

According to detectives, a 17-year-old female victim was inside her Marietta Drive residence when the doorbell rang. The two male subjects at the door asked the victim if it was another address and the victims said no and closed the door. When she turned around she was confronted by a male subject inside the home who was armed with a handgun. This subject allowed the two subjects at the door inside and the victim was handcuffed.

During the time the subjects were in the house, the victim's 25-year-old sister and a male friend entered the home and were also detained at gunpoint. The subjects, after searching the house, fled in two separate vehicles, a newer model silver Nissan Maxima and an older model green possible Nissan Maxima or Honda Accord. There were no injuries.

All three subjects are believed to be approximately 30 years old. The first subject is described as a black male, 5'6" with a thin build, light skin and short-cropped hair wearing a dark T-shirt with unknown lettering. The second subject is described as a black male around 5'10" with a medium build and dark skin also wearing a dark T-shirt with unknown lettering. The third subject is described as a black male around 6 feet with a heavy build and dark skin wearing a white collared long sleeve shirt with blue vertical pinstripes and embroidered letters on the left breast pocket, armed with a handgun.
