New Cassel Mother Arrested, Charged With Killing Children
The Nassau County Police Department's Communication Bureau responded to a 911 call on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 8:55 a.m. Upon arrival, 3rd Precinct police officers were met by a female, Leatrice Brewer, who directed them to a second-floor apartment.

Kiwanis to Hold Bowling Fundraiser March 1
Bowling to Fight MS, hosted by the Kiwanis of New Cassel, will take place Saturday, March 1 at Syosset Lanes from 1 to 3 p.m. the cost of the event is $20 per bowler and includes bowling, popcorn, soda and raffles.
