Calaya Reid's Novel Take Her Man in Stores --
Westbury native Calaya M. Reid grew up on Swalm Street across from the park named after her late uncle, Martin "Bunky" Reid. This month, the young woman who still maintains deep roots to her hometown can officially add author to her list of accomplishments.

Clarke's Martino and Russo Named to HIP Grand Slam Baseball Roster
Joe Martino, a first baseman for W.T. Clarke High School, and Bryan Russo, a centerfielder for W.T. Clarke High School, have both been named to the Nassau County roster for the third annual HIP Grand Slam Challenge high school baseball All-Star game, which will be held at Citibank Park, Saturday, June 9 at 7 p.m.
