On Feb. 6, more than 60,000 people in Nassau County cast their votes in the historic State Senate Special Election. I am honored to have been elected to succeed Michael Balboni as state senator for the 7th District.

I want to thank everyone for their remarkable support during this short campaign. I am proud to build on the record of reform that I established as Nassau County Legislator for the 11th District. I will work hard to restore faith in New York State government and bring pride back to the State of New York.
