The 27th Annual Carle Place Civic Association's Fun Run/Walk Day, which took place this year on Oct. 22, featured many walkers and runners. There were also many observers along the way and at the finish line.

The starter of this year's race was Robert Greco, a great friend to the Carle Place community and run master of ceremonies for many years. This year's Top Male Runner was Stephen Donnelly with a time of 15:19. The Top Female Runner was a Carle Place High School alumnus Peggy Kearney Edwards with a time of 22:20. The Top Family Runners were the Donnellys, 15:19; Madeys, 19:45; and Volks, 21:41.

It was a beautiful day and a great family get-together for all. Thanks to all the sponsors and supporters.
