NHCC Announces 4-Year, $240M Modernization Program
Joined by Nassau County Executive, Thomas R. Suozzi, Nassau County Comptroller Weitzman, and various officials last week Nassau Health Care Corporation (NHCC) Acting President/CEO Arthur A. Gianelli announced an historic four year $240 Million Modernization Program for Nassau's public healthcare system, which is comprised of the Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC), the A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility (AHP) and six community Health Centers (CHC), all serving a large uninsured and underinsured patient population.

Chiefs Shut Out Garden City
The Mineola PAL Chiefs 9-year-olds were home on Oct. 14 at Tully Park and got defensive as they shut out the Garden City Thunder 13-0, bringing their season record to 4-1-1.
