Welcome to the 2006-2007 school year! Our summer months have been filled with construction modifications to modernize the kitchens and cafeterias at each of our schools, as well as the detail and finish work necessary to complete the new library learning environment, and associated site work, at the Cherry Lane School.

We also completed curriculum work and enabled staff development designed to enrich our program offerings in order to energize and sharpen the professional skills of our staff members. Taken collectively, this combination of efforts creates a safe learning environment for our students, protects and improves the capital assets of the district, and, ensures that we deliver the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for our graduates to compete in the global economy.

Our district calendar outlines numerous opportunities for you to become involved with the district. I look forward to working in partnership with you to build exceptional value in our school programs and to continue the strong traditions that have made our district the envy of many others in the area.
