At this time, residents will have the opportunity to vote for or against the proposed spending plan of $38,511,354, a 5.73 percent, or $2,085,620, increase over the current year's budget of $36,425,734. For the first time since 1986, the Westbury High School boys' and girls' track teams hosted an on-campus 2-day track meet. On April 10 and 11, track teams from Garden City, Lawrence and Herrick's High Schools arrived at Westbury for the competitions and were greeted by Westbury's impressive brand-new state-of-the-art track and field. Both Westbury teams performed exceptionally well with the boys' team taking first place overall in the meet and the girls' team second. FULL STORY
