During the past 50 years, more than 6,500 students, 550 teachers and hundreds of staff members have graced the halls of Carle Place High School. Old Westbury women's volleyball coach, Marjahna Vickers Segers, has been named the College Female Coach of the Year by the Nassau County Sports Commission (NCSC), a not-for-profit agency that is committed to enhancing the quality of life for Nassau County residents through sport and physical activity. Criteria for the award include overall excellence and success combining athletics, academics and community service.
