Westbury Village Adopts Public Benefit Fee
The Westbury Village Board recently adopted a measure that will impose a public benefit fee on commercial developers who are the recipients of parking variances in the Village's business districts. The proposal, initiated by Village Trustee Peter Cavallaro, calls for the imposition of a public benefit fee upon the granting of variances by the Village Zoning Board of Appeals from the village's regular parking requirements.
