The Town of North Hempstead held a two-fold public meeting last Wednesday night regarding the Westbury Avenue visioning process and the future of the Nassau BOCES (former EJ Korvettes) site. The Sept. 28 meeting enabled residents to listen to the property owners' ideas regarding the possible construction of senior housing on the site as well as the opportunity to ask questions and voice concern, opposition and support about the project.
