New faces, dear friends and zealous talk about potty training are just some of the topics you are likely to encounter as a member of the Westbury Mothers' Center. A non-profit organization that reaches out to women on an individual level, the Mothers' Center provides a forum to meet and bond with other mothers, to pose questions and to gain confidence through shared experience.
Missing MD Found Murdered
On Aug. 25, the Nassau County Police Department Public Information Office reported that Dr. Joseph Kazigo of Westbury and Lincolndale, NY, was missing. Police were dispatched to the home after being notified by Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) personnel that the 67-year-old emergency room surgeon had not shown up for work.

$60K Raised by Old Westbury College Foundation for Clark Family Stables Restoration
The Old Westbury College Foundation, Inc. welcomed more than 400 guests recently to its Fourth Annual Summer Polo Match and Lawn Party to benefit the restoration of the historic Clark Family Stables at SUNY College at Old Westbury. The event, which took place in the magnificent surroundings of Hickox Field in Old Westbury, grossed more than $60,000 in support of the restoration project.
