District Proposes $77.9M Spending Plan
Residents of the Westbury School District will take to the polls on Tuesday, May 17 to vote for or against the district's proposed 2005-2006 budget of $77,993,745. The proposed spending plan represents an increase of 9.57 percent, or $6,809,359 over current year's approved spending plan $71,184,386.

Carle Place High School's Athletic History
In n April 13 Newsday Sports, Jason Molinet cited the "National High School Unbeaten Streaks" of all sports nationwide. History ended for Miller Place High School's Badminton Team that had set a national record by winning 504 straight games, dating back to 1973. The sport of badminton had become an important part of the Miller Place community.
