Drivers: Don't Block the Box
"The real problem is that we have one lane going into two lanes right across our driveway and people are creating a second lane south of our driveway because they can see the (official) second lane north of our driveway," said Marc Jensen, director of development at the school. "Technically, the white box is not supposed to have two cars next to each other. Two lanes are supposed to start after it." Jensen added, "Cars go through the intersection when they're supposed to be stopped. Parents come down from Jericho Turnpike to make the left into our driveway but can't without someone barreling by them. And its one thing if it is just cars, but what happens often is it's a massive truck."
