Nassau County District Attorney Denis Dillon announced that Joseph Cucciniello, 32, of East Meadow was sentenced to nine years in prison by Nassau County Court Judge Joseph Calabrese. Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi was joined by Commissioner of Consumer Affairs Roger Bogsted on Jan. 11 to announce that the Nassau County Office of Consumer Affairs (OCA) shut down gas pumps at A&A Liberty Gas Station on Union Avenue in Westbury after investigators uncovered the bootleg delivery and sale of gasoline containing MTBE, a known groundwater contaminant outlawed in New York State.
