The Carle Place High School's Varsity Softball Team enjoyed another rewarding spring season under Coach Chris Ceruti. The team earned a hard-fought Conference B/C Championship, finishing with an impressive 14-2 league record. The Frogs beat some very tough opponents during the league season to earn the championship. This was a team that returned eight varsity players from last year's County "C" Championship Team. For the third time in seven years, Coach Ceruti was selected as Coach-of-the-Year by her colleagues. Old Westbury Athletics and the Panther Pride Club will host a special Ocean Cruise and Fire Island Lobster Bake on Monday, June 28 aboard the state-of-the-art 65-foot party boat Spectrum.
