On Monday, April 19, the Carle Place Board of Education along with school administration waited anxiously for the results of a vote on the proposed $10.9 million capital improvement bond. Carle Place junior Jenna McLaughlin, All-County player, had an outstanding year for the Frogs on the hardwood. The highly competitive and talented point guard for Carle Place High School, scored 342 points, averaging 19 points per game. McLaughlin also led the team with 135 steals and 81 assists. She is an excellent defensive player as well as a talented scorer. She scored 25 points, had seven rebounds and 11 steals in the county class "B" semi-finals game against Malverne. FULL STORY
