CPSD Bond Proposal Topic of March 30 Community Meeting
On Tuesday, March 30, residents of the Carle Place School District are invited to learn more about the $10.9 million bond proposition for district-wide capital improvements. The meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the high school's north cafeteria.

Help Fight Childhood Cancer With a LI Survivor
In October 2003, Thea Linscott of East Meadow celebrated her fifth year in remission. Along with her friends, family, and supporters, two very special people stood by her side. They were Ralph and MaryAnn Napolitano, who have a unique relationship with Linscott. They are the reason she received a childhood cancer scholarship toward her tuition at Hofstra University in Uniondale. Together they all celebrated a monumental event, Linscott being five years cancer free.

Bill Simpson Named A-10 'Rookie of the Week'
Last year, Bill Simpson, a member of Carle Place High School's Class of 2003, led the Frogs to their first New York State Championship (Class B). Simpson posted some amazing numbers, both on the mound and at the plate, and was voted All-New York State player and as the school's first High School All-American in baseball.

Carle Place Teams Qualify for Scholar-Athlete Awards
During the past winter sports season, three varsity teams from Carle Place High School qualified for the New York State Scholar-Athlete Team Awards. To qualify, the top seven student-athletes from a varsity team must combine for a minimum of a 90.0 unweighted grade point average.
