Nassau jumped out to a 7-0 lead before holding on to avenge last year's 3-2 loss to Suffolk. Sponsored by Vytra Health Plans, Newsday and the New York Islanders, the all-star showdown is a charity event, with this year's proceeds benefiting All Island Handicapped Sports, a non-profit organization that runs programs for physically challenged children, and the New York Islanders Children's Foundation.
