Carle Place Schools to Review Bond Necessities
On April 19, Carle Place residents will have the opportunity to vote on a $10.9 million bond proposition that will cover many essential health, safety, instruction and security improvements for the Carle Place School District. For a first-hand look at why these improvements are necessary, the community is invited to participate in various building tours scheduled for Saturday, March 13. Interested parties can meet in the main offices of each school for tours, which begin at 9 and 10 a.m.

Willets Road 7th Graders Take Electronic Field Trip
Seventh-graders at the Willets Road Middle School in East Williston recently participated in an electronic field trip called "Fastballs, Flips and Physics: Science of the Sandlot." This unique learning activity, which was organized by the physical education teachers, demonstrated to students how the laws of science and math apply to various aspects of baseball.
