Dinos Stamoulis, Local Hockey Star
Just before his 17th birthday, Carle Place resident Dinos Stamoulis left home to play on a Junior A Hockey Team in Sioux Falls, SD. During this time, he lived with a host family and finished his senior year of high school. Now, two years later, 19-year-old Stamoulis is heading off to college.

Carle Place resident Anne Santoro is a 79-year-old woman who knows how to bounce back from life's tribulations. She recently lost her husband of 58 years and, although devastated after his death, welcomed the opportunity to work at Panera Bread Café in Carle Place when they opened last October.
