The Westbury Village Department is bringing karate to Westbury.

Working in concert with the Long Island Okinawan Martial Arts Center, the program will begin with the registration and a karate demonstration on Monday, April 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. Thereafter, classes will be held on Saturday mornings and Monday evenings at the Westbury Recreation Center. There will be two classes on each of these days. One class will be for boys and girls ages 8 to 12. The other will be for ages 13 to adult.
