John E. Leonard, of Westbury, died on Feb. 25, 2003. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, receiving the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge and Korean Service Medal with Bronze Star. Wife of Sheila. Father of William Patrick and Jeanne, Kathleen, Laura and Gordon Krstacic, Patricia and William Pflaumer, Margaret Mary and Chris Forgione and the late John E. Leonard Jr. Grandfather of John L., Christopher, John K., Melissa, Alexis, Steven, Daniel, Gabrielle, Jennifer and Joseph. Arrangements were made by the Donohue Cecere Funeral Home, Westbury. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Brigid's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
