W.T. Clarke H.S. athlete Ashley Lane has signed her letter of interest for Hofstra University. She has accepted a scholarship to play softball with the NCAA Division I Pride. Lane has been the starting catcher for the Clarke Rams since eighth grade. She received All-Conference honors from the Nassau County coaches as an eighth-grader and is a three-time All-County recipient, two-time All-Long Island player, two-time All-State Player and received All-Region honors this past season.
