Residents of the Carle Place School District last week voted in favor of creating a Carle Place Library Funding District. Residents also approved the proposed budget and elected five trustees to serve on the newly created district's board. FULL STORY

The Carle Place Athletic Booster Club has donated $1,960 to the school district for the purchase of one automated external defibrillator (AED) and its accessories, including a canvas carrying bag. The school district also received donations for an additional AED from the Carle Place Teachers' Association. The school district budgeted for three additional AEDs, bringing the total to five. Each of the elementary school buildings will have one AED available to them, with two in the middle/high school and one for use by the athletic department. FULL STORY
