Susan B. White, of Westbury, died on April 2, 2002. She was a librarian at the Hempstead Public Library for many years. Daughter of the late Thomas and Marjorie White. Francis (Frank) Carlson, 79, of Margate, FL, died on March 21, 2002. He had been a Florida resident since 1991 moving from Westbury. Mr. Carlson served with the Air Transport Command C.B.I. Theater during WWII. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia M. of Margate; daughters, Kathleen (Evan) Tauber of San Antonio, TX, Karen (Lloyd) Ginsberg of Edmond, OK; son, Richard (Lauren) Carlson of Valrico, FL; four grandchildren, Kristen, Suzanne, Rachel and Lacey; one great-grandson, Eric; sister, Margery (Anges) Hamilton of Margate; stepmother, Eleanor Carlson; and brother, David (Diane) Carlson, all from California; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
