Stephen W. O'Leary, of Westbury, died on Feb. 23, 2002. Husband of Joan. Father of Stephen Jr., Maureen Kaslow, Dennis, Peter, Sean and Brian. Grandfather of Jenifer, Colin, Coleen, Caitlin, Meaghan, Kathleen, Daniel, Samantha and Emily. Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Funeral Chapel, Manhasset. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's RC Church. Interment Mount St. Mary's Cemetery. Florence "Jess" Jarman, 93, of Westbury, died on Feb. 26, 2002 at Winthrop Hospital of natural causes. Born Oct. 12, 1908 in Aldershot, England, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Jane Price of Lichfield, England. She was a resident of Westbury since 1985 where she lived with her niece Charlotte Egan. Married in Cairo, Egypt, she also lived in Hong Kong, India and eventually settled in Brecon, Wales. She was an interior decorator, an accomplished seamstress and gardener. She was predeceased by her husband, Col. Ivor Jarman, in 1985. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Spaeth of Greenwich, CT; three grandchildren, Robert Spaeth of Greenwich, Kevin Spaeth of Dallas, TX and Allyson Spaeth of Verneuil Sur Seine, France; and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by the Donohue Cecere Funeral Home, Westbury. A memorial service will be held in Westbury in late August. Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart or Lung Associations.
