Elected to a four-year term as North Hempstead Councilman in November 2001, Pollack currently serves as a liaison to Manhasset, New Cassel and Westbury.   • Sports: Fitzgibbon Scores in Four Mile Run

    Mary Frances Fitzgibbon of Westbury was the ninth woman overall and second in the 30-34 age group in the Greater Long Island Running Club's (GLIRC) Little Cow Harbor Four Mile Run, crossing the finish line in 26 minutes, 32 seconds. Fitzgibbon is a member the GLIRC and runs competitively for the club's Fast Feet Women's Racing Team. A total of 675 participants completed the four-mile run. FULL STORY
