Individuals who spend much of their personal time toward the enhancement of our society are exceptional beings. Beverlee Szimanski of Westbury was such a person.
As president of the Community Association of Stewart Avenue, Beverlee worked selflessly to improve our quality of life. She was indeed a dedicated and diligent civic activist who focused on crime watch and safety in Salisbury and surrounding areas. The community work she completed in her lifetime will benefit generations to come.
Beverlee Szimanski exemplified the true spirit of community volunteerism. Her sudden passing is a great loss to us all. I extend my deepest sympathy to Beverlee's family, friends and community.
