Joan E. Watkins (nee Gresham), formerly of Westbury, died on Dec. 22, 2001. Mother of Nettie Watkins, Harold Watkins and Gene Watkins. Grandmother of Reed, Nadine, Mason, Ellis and Deyhanne. Sister of Mae Lomax and the late George Gresham, Nettie Barksdale and Gene Gresham. Cousin of Brenda Smith. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Donohue Cecere Funeral Home, Westbury. Religious service. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Paul A. Hoffer, 68, of Davie, FL, died on Dec. 23, 2001. Paul served his country as a Marine in the Korean War and was one of the chosen frozen and was decorated twice with the Purple Heart. He was a long-time resident of both Westbury and Little Falls, NJ where he was a manager for Roosevelt Raceway and The Meadowlands Racetrack before transferring to Florida where he was currently employed at Pompano Raceway. He is survived by his wife Doris; his mother Margret Hoffer; daughters, Kathy Greshem and Donna Galorenzo; son Paul M. Hoffer; three grandsons and one granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Florida as well as New Jersey. The family is requesting no flowers but donations to Vitas Hospitals, The Cancer Association or the Diabetic Foundation. Thomas F. Burke, of Carle Place, died on Dec. 29, 2001. Iannucci Sr., of Westbury, died on Dec. 29, 2001 in his 87th year. Born in Durazzano, Italy in 1914, he emigrated to Westbury in 1919 at the age of five and has been a resident of Westbury for 82 years. He was a WWII veteran who served in the Pacific Theater. Husband of the late Elizabeth. Father of Antoinette, Salvatore Jr. (Nancy) and Francis (Roxanne). Grandfather of Leanne, Alexis and Alicia. Brother of Catherine Lindeman, Philomena Foran, Anthony and the late Jennie Lombardi, Jimmy and Victor. Arrangements were made by the Donohue Cecere Funeral Home, Westbury.
