The Kiwanis Club of New Cassel hosted its annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner for local senior citizens and the community, at the Magnolia Gardens senior housing complex. The dinner is a tradition started in 1977, under the leadership of then-president J.V. Brown. Approximately 50 local residents enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving meal through the event.
