  • SPORTS: Tournament at Westbury Bowl This Sunday

    On Oct. 28, the Long Island Youth Bowling Tour (LIYBT) will be at Westbury Bowl. This tournament is open to all junior and youth bowlers of all ages. Bowlers will earn scholarship awards plus trophies for the top five leaders in the scratch and handicap divisions. This event is also a Junior Gold qualifier for the scratch division. The top qualifier wins an entry and a chance to earn a spot on the Junior Team USA in Florida this summer. The LIYBT is a nonprofit 501 (c)3 volunteer organization which has awarded over $9000 on Long Island last year and over $82,000 since 1993. FULL STORY
