Joseph DiTrapani, state president of the Grand Lodge of New York, Order Sons of Italy in America, today announced, in light of the tragedy that struck our city, our country and the world, the Order Sons of Italy in America has activated the New York Grand Lodge Disaster Relief program. Fund-raising efforts from its lodges, members and citizens who want to help are encouraged. This campaign will be chaired by state orator, Salvatore Lanzilotta, a member of the Donatello Lodge #2559, of Westbury. Checks can be made payable to the NY Grand Lodge Foundation, Inc., earmarked "Disaster Relief."
