Tuesday, Sept. 11 - At 8:45 a.m. a hijacked American Airlines passenger jet crashed into one of the 110-story Twin Towers at the World Trade Center in lower Manhattan. 18 minutes later a second hijacked American Airlines passenger jet crashed into the other tower. A teenage girl from Hicksville was killed in an accident on Salisbury Park Drive, Westbury, last week, when the car in which she was riding struck a tree a few blocks south of Old Country Road. FULL STORY
