Charles Water's Karate and Fitness School in Williston Park recently commended some local children who have received promotions in the Karatatot program.

Charles Water's Karate and Fitness School in Williston Park recently commended students of the Karatatot program, shown here. Among those in the program are Nicholas Hytell of Westbury and Kyle Cotter of Carle Place.

Karatatot is the martial arts program that teaches children starting at age 4. "The values that Karatatot instills are the values that we all want for our children," stated a representative for the school. "The students that have received their tip promotions are those students who have shown their respect by listening; they have increased their physical coordination and they have built upon their strengths and their confidence. These are the children that will not bully you. These are the children that are the leaders of tomorrow."

Charles Water's Karate & Fitness is a full-time, professional martial arts school, with classes for children, adults and teenagers. The school is also the only one on Long Island that offers Karatatot.

The school expressed pride in the following students:

From Westbury: Nicholas Hytell; From Carle Place: Kyle Cotter.
