Nassau County Legislator Roger Corbin (D-Westbury), (left), recently met with Christine Fleming, center, coordinator, Parent Child Home Program; and James Reed, (right), coordinator, Safe Communities, to discuss helmet safety. Safe Communities is an organization that promotes the rise of safety helmets for children. Corbin said that helmets are a necessity when riding a bike and that all children should learn to practice helmet safety.
