Carle Place High School's Annual Athletic Awards Dinner was held at the Chateau Briand Restaurant which hosted 465 people, including varsity athletes and their parents, school administrators, members of the board of education, officers of the Carle Place Athletic Booster Club, coaches, as well as other guests.

Every varsity athlete was presented with their varsity letter and pin(s), as well as other special awards throughout the evening. On behalf of the coaches, athletes and their parents, a special thank you to the Carle Place Booster Club for their continued support of the scholar/athlete awards and other special recognitions. The Carle Place Athletic Booster Club provided every senior-athlete with a beautiful Class of 2001 towel, in addition, all seniors received their Senior Recognition plaques for their participation in the interscholastic program. Special appreciation for Mrs. Debbie Iraci for all of her hard work in establishing a very professional 80-page program which includes all of the season highlights, rosters and special awards for each of the 21 varsity sports offered at Carle Place High School.
