Margaret Smith Tatem, 102, former Westbury resident, died June 30, 2001, in Bridgeport, CT. She was born in Pas Christian, MS, and was a resident of Westbury for over 80 years before moving to Fairfield, CT, six years ago. She was the wife of the late Francis C. (Frank). Mother of Rev. Francis Tatem (Ann) of Christianburg, VA, William Taten (Sandra) of Loudonville, NY and Robert Taten (Elaine) of Fairfield. Grandmother of 15. Great-grandmother of 28. Great-great-grandmother of two. Aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Helen Virginia Upritchard Grishin of Wantagh, three brothers and a sister.
