Charles Water's Karate & Fitness in Williston Park, recently hosted Parent's Night Out, which begins at 6 p.m. and participants are picked approximately 5 hours later. Students stayed at the school while their parents enjoyed a night out. The theme of the evening was "'50s Night."
Students brought their siblings and friends too. The students dressed the part, and the games ranged from limbo, hopscotch, to a hoola hoop contest, a bubble gum contest and much much more. The movie of the night was Grease and the dinner was pizza.
"Charles Water's Karate & Fitness center offers its students a variety of ways to interact and have fun, all under the auspices of their martial arts training," noted a representative for the school, adding, "The studio is always open to the public to view classes. We are also available for demonstrations and seminars on self-esteem for any non-profit organizations. It's easy. Just give us a call at 742-1770."
